Industries
Six sectors, ordered by how much we can prove.
Every project named on these pages is one VenSoc built. Where a sector is listed, it is because there is work to point at — not because the vertical looked good on a slide. Freight forwarding leads because that is where the operational depth is.

Freight forwarding & logistics
Freight forwarding is where VenSoc has the deepest operational track record. Forwarders are the intermediaries between shippers and the carriers who move the goods, and VenSoc built FreightW — an ERP for exactly that business — launched it commercially in July 2016 and still operates it for six forwarding companies. VenSoc also supports a UK courier and warehousing company’s web presence.

Published work spans the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Pakistan.

Manufacturing & industrial distribution
VenSoc builds the commercial and digital systems around manufacturing businesses — trade commerce platforms, product and specification data, and the integration between selling systems and back-office ERP. Published clients include cable manufacturers, tooling distributors, waste management equipment makers and renewable energy suppliers. VenSoc does not deliver shop-floor, machine-level or production control systems, and says so plainly.

Professional & financial services
VenSoc builds workflow and client-facing systems for professional practices — tax, accountancy, legal and consulting firms whose work is document-heavy, deadline-driven and regulated. Published clients include UK tax and professional services consultancies. Professional services is also where applied AI pays back fastest, because the inputs are documents and the outputs are structured and checkable.

Energy & sustainability
VenSoc builds commercial and digital systems for renewable energy suppliers and environmental equipment manufacturers — product catalogues for technically specified equipment, quotation-led sales flows, and the content platforms behind a long capital-purchase cycle. Published work covers smart renewable energy products and solid and liquid waste management equipment, where the sale is a sized system rather than a catalogue item.

Not listed?
A sector we have not worked in is a reason to ask, not a reason to stop.
The engineering problems repeat across industries far more than the industries admit. What changes is the vocabulary, the regulator and the failure cost — and those are the first things a technical review establishes.
