VenSoc Technologies

Netherlands

Sixteen years of Dutch delivery, not a new market entry.

VenSoc Technologies has been building and maintaining software for a Dutch client since 2009. This page is for Dutch SMEs, digital agencies and Odoo partners who need an engineering team that answers in plain English, keeps data in the EU, and is still there after go-live.

In short

VenSoc Technologies builds and operates applied AI, ERP and commerce systems for Dutch businesses and agencies. The longest-running engagement is a Dutch community platform built in 2009 and still in service today. Default hosting is an EU data centre in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the working day overlaps the Dutch one by four hours.

What has actually been delivered

Three engagements, each one VenSoc contracted for directly. None of them is a logo on a wall: each is a system somebody is using today.

  • ontmoetlotgenoten.nl — a Dutch platform since 2009

Built as SinglesUnited.nl in 2009–2010, rebuilt as Do-More.nl and DateMore.nl in 2018–2019, and maintained by VenSoc for the same client for fifteen years without a break. Mollie payments were integrated on Do-More.nl. When the owner retired the brands in 2025 the software was handed to PostCovid NL and runs today as ontmoetlotgenoten.nl.

  • FreightW ERP — VenSoc’s own product since 2016

A freight-forwarding ERP VenSoc has owned and operated since July 2016, used by six forwarders. An agency that has only ever billed hours never has to live with its own architectural decisions; ten years of running one is the counter-evidence.

  • LaGaia UNEDITED and People4Ocean — Odoo, Shopify and search

Two Australian direct-to-consumer brands where VenSoc holds Odoo, the Shopify storefront and the search programme together, including the Odoo Online to Odoo.sh migration that made custom development possible at all.

Built for the Dutch stack

A Dutch buyer is judged by their customers on payment and delivery long before design. This is what VenSoc has delivered and what it has not — stated here rather than discovered during procurement.

Mollie and iDEALDelivered
The Mollie payment gateway integrated on Do-More.nl, the Dutch platform now running as ontmoetlotgenoten.nl. iDEAL reaches a storefront as a Mollie payment method rather than as a separate integration.
Exact Online and MoneybirdCapability
The finance and invoicing systems a Dutch business is likely to already run. VenSoc has built this class of ERP and accounting synchronisation on other platforms and has not yet delivered these two.
bol.comCapability
Listing, stock and order synchronisation alongside a storefront — the same reconciliation problem VenSoc solves between a storefront and an ERP, with a marketplace holding one of the copies.
Sendcloud and PostNLCapability
Labels, track-and-trace and returns. The integration work is routine; the design decision is which system owns the shipment record once a parcel exists in two places.

Commerce engineering, in detail

Where your data lives

Delivered systems run in the client’s own cloud accounts and regions wherever the client wants them there. Where VenSoc hosts instead, the default is Scala Hosting’s EU data centre in Sofia, Bulgaria, with AWS or Azure EU regions available on request. The region is written into the engagement rather than left to whichever account was convenient.

VenSoc is established in Pakistan, which holds no European adequacy decision. Transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses in the data processing agreement, and a transfer risk assessment is provided where a client requires one. That is a material fact for a Dutch buyer and it is on this page rather than three calls in.

How the working day lines up

VenSoc works from Lahore, which runs three hours ahead of Amsterdam in winter and four in summer. In practice that is a four-hour overlap every working day: a Dutch morning stand-up lands in the Pakistani afternoon, and work handed over at the end of a Dutch day has been picked up before the next one starts. Agency engagements get the same named engineer throughout, not a rotating bench.

How to start

Three steps, in this order. Nothing is quoted before somebody has read the system.

  1. 1

    A free technical review

Ninety minutes with two VenSoc engineers, followed by a written assessment you keep — including the cases where the honest recommendation is that you do not need VenSoc.

  2. 2

    A fixed-price discovery

Where the review finds real work, discovery turns it into a written scope with acceptance criteria. It is a paid engagement with a deliverable, not a free proposal that pads the first invoice.

  3. 3

    Delivery or retained capacity

Fixed scope where the outcome is well defined, retained monthly capacity where the requirements are still moving. Managed EU hosting folds into the support retainer where you want VenSoc to hold it.

Common questions

Does VenSoc have people in the Netherlands?
No. VenSoc Technologies is established in Lahore, Pakistan, and delivers remotely with a four-hour daily overlap with Dutch working hours. The Dutch connection is sixteen years of continuous delivery for a Dutch client, not a local office, and this page says so rather than implying a presence that does not exist.
Can VenSoc work as a sub-contractor to a Dutch agency?
Yes, and it is a large part of what VenSoc does. Agency work runs white-label under the agency’s brand and under an NDA, with the same named engineer throughout, the code owned by the agency or its client, and thirty days’ notice with no exit penalty. The arrangement is described in full on the agencies page.
Is client data kept in the European Union?
Where VenSoc hosts the system, yes by default: Scala Hosting’s EU data centre in Sofia, Bulgaria, with AWS or Azure EU regions on request. Where a client hosts in their own account, the region is theirs to choose. VenSoc personnel access data from Pakistan, which is a restricted transfer covered by standard contractual clauses in the DPA.
Which Dutch integrations has VenSoc actually built?
Mollie, on Do-More.nl. Exact Online, Moneybird, bol.com, Sendcloud and PostNL are capabilities rather than delivered projects, and this page marks each one accordingly. VenSoc does not describe an integration it has not shipped as past work, because a Dutch buyer will ask for the reference and there would not be one.
