In short
VenSoc builds learning and content platforms for medical education, colleges and training organisations — web platforms with matching iOS and Android applications, video delivery, structured curricula and subscription access. Published work includes a surgical education platform delivered across all three surfaces.
What makes an education platform hard to build well?
Education platforms are hard because the content model is the product. Curriculum structure, progression rules, access entitlements and completion tracking all have to be expressible without a developer, or every course change becomes a release.
The second difficulty is surface count. Learners expect the same content on web, iOS and Android, with progress that follows them, offline access where connectivity is unreliable, and entitlement checks that work identically on all three. That is three clients against one content and identity model, and the model has to be right before any of them is built.
VenSoc has delivered exactly this shape: a single content and entitlement backend serving a web platform and native applications on both mobile platforms.
What VenSoc has built in education
A full-surface medical education platform, plus college and training organisation systems.
- NeuroSurgical.TV
- A surgical education and video platform delivered as a web application with matching native iOS and Android clients, sharing one content, entitlement and progress model.
- Curriculum and training applications
- A published catalogue of structured curriculum applications for a United States education publisher — levelled progression, video instruction and offline access across iOS and Android.
- Aurora College and Eye on Ivy
- Web platforms for an education institution and an admissions consulting practice, covering programme information, enquiry capture and the content operations behind an annual admissions cycle.
What we typically do in this sector
- Legacy modernisation
VenSoc replaces legacy systems incrementally rather than through a big-bang rewrite. The approach routes traffic through a facade, moves one capability at a time behind it, and keeps the old and new systems running in parallel until each slice is proven — so the business never depends on a single cutover date..
- Applied AI & agentic systems
VenSoc builds applied AI systems that operate inside business processes: retrieval-augmented generation over internal knowledge, document intelligence, and agents that take actions in existing systems. Every engagement includes evaluation harnesses, cost and latency observability, access control, and a documented operating model..
- Data platform engineering
VenSoc builds the ingestion pipelines, warehouse models and governance layer that applied AI work depends on. Most organisations discover this gap at the point their first AI initiative needs reliable, joined, documented data — and finds it distributed across systems that disagree with each other..
- SEO, GEO & demand engineering
VenSoc runs technical SEO and generative engine optimisation (GEO) programmes for B2B companies. GEO is the practice of making a site retrievable and citable by AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
Common questions
- Do you build the mobile applications too, or only the backend?
- Both. VenSoc has shipped native iOS and Android applications alongside the web platform and the shared backend, which matters because the hardest part of a multi-surface product is keeping entitlement and progress consistent across clients. A team that owns only one surface tends to solve that problem three incompatible ways.
